Our chocolate butter is dangerously versatile 😉
It’s rich, creamy, indulgent — and far more exciting than just spreading it on toast.
From quick breakfast upgrades to easy dessert ideas and show-stopping banana bread, here are our favourite ways to use chocolate butter at home.
Chocolate Butter on Breads & Pastries
Like all of our sweet butters, chocolate butter shines when simply spread onto warm baked goods. If you’ve met us at a food festival, you’ll already know our go-to favourites.
Perfect for breakfast, brunch or an afternoon treat:
-
Toast
-
Bagels
-
Croissants
-
Pancakes
-
Waffles
-
French toast
-
Muffins
-
Crumpets
-
Scones
The warmth gently melts the butter, creating a silky chocolate spread that feels indulgent but not heavy.
Simple. Fast. Delicious.
Chocolate Butter Overnight Oats
Looking for an easy breakfast you can prep the night before? These chocolate butter overnight oats are creamy, satisfying and perfect for busy mornings.

You’ll need:
-
50g rolled oats
-
120ml milk
-
1–2 tbsp chocolate butter
-
1–2 tbsp yoghurt
-
1 tsp honey or maple syrup
-
Pinch of salt
Method:
-
Add all ingredients to a jar or airtight container.
-
Stir well until fully combined.
-
Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
-
In the morning, stir again and add toppings such as chopped fruit, chocolate chips or peanut butter.
A chocolatey breakfast that feels like dessert — but keeps you going all morning.
Fruit… But Better

Fruit is already a great snack. But add chocolate butter and it becomes something special.
Here are some of our favourites:
Banana + chocolate butter
Sliced banana with a generous dollop of chocolate butter. Creamy, sweet and completely addictive.
Chocolate butter strawberries
Instead of dipping strawberries in melted chocolate, try coating them in chocolate butter for a lighter, creamier flavour boost.
Apple slices + chocolate butter + sea salt
Sweet, creamy and slightly salty. Trust us — you need to try this.
Easy Dessert Upgrades with Chocolate Butter
Need a quick dessert idea? These take seconds but taste next level.
Add to ice cream
Chocolate butter works beautifully with vanilla or salted caramel ice cream. Spoon it on top or layer ice cream and chocolate butter in a tall glass for an easy sundae.
Make a cookie sandwich
Spread chocolate butter between two chewy cookies for the ultimate sweet treat.
Swirl into brownie or cake batter
Before baking, swirl chocolate butter through brownie or cake batter for deeper chocolate flavour and a fudgy finish.
This might be what your baking has been missing.
